Growing Possibilities
We provide educational and vocational pathways for underserved communities that help our community and planet thrive.
Pathways of Purpose (POP) seeks to empower youth and the community to dream big for their lives and the world by providing asset-based, STEAM educational and vocational programs. POP will address the growing risks of climate change, social and economic inequities with movement building towards sustainable systems. Our programs foster equity, opportunity, accessibility, safety, and sovereignty for underserved communities.

Land & Labor Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we reside and work on the ancestral and unceded homelands of Indigenous peoples, including the Wiyot, Yurok, Karuk, Hupa, Tolowa Dee-ni’, Bear River, Blue Lake, Trinidad, Big Lagoon, Mattole, Wailaki and others. We have a deep respect for the Tribal communities, who are the original and continuing stewards of the land, waters and natural resources. We call for reciprocal actions and advocacy from any non-Native allies, such as supporting local Indigenous communities and their efforts for sovereignty in our area.
The economic and cultural development of California and the United States was built on genocide, stolen Indigenous land and the backs of enslaved Africans and their descendants. We are indebted to the labor and sacrifice of Black People, Indigenous People, and People of Color, LGBTQIA2S+ and Disabled people. We recognize immigrant labor, undocumented labor, trafficked, as well as women of all races and ethnicities whose labor is not always seen and is systemically undervalued. In response to the ongoing impacts, we work to center the joy, creativity, accomplishments, resilience, and strength in underrepresented communities on the local, national and international levels.
