OVERVIEW: POP created and co-facilitates this monthly remote working group and speaker series with New Economy Coalition, running through 2026 and beyond. The project is for Black, Indigenous and People of Color working within land back, reparations, rematriation, inheritance, cultural revitalization, traditional knowledge, food soverienty and liberation.
We are gathering together to share our projects, learn from guest speakers, and to study and reflect on the frameworks and political underpinnings of land-based work and movements. We are engaging in cultural shares, providing space and care for grief related to land injustice, and sharing financial, legal and other resources.
